2025 Summer Camp Guide hot off the press! Register early to get your kid in the camp they desire. Fun, adventure, and creativity await them this summer!


1. Smithsonian Summer Camp

Dates: June 16 – August 15 2025

2. KID Museum

Be a KID with us as we invent, explore, and make our way through the summer! KID Museum’s camps are designed and led by our professional maker educators and develop real-world skills through fun, hands-on projects. Join us and make it a summer to remember. 3. SPY Museum

Week 1: July 14 – 18 Week 2: July 21 – 25  

Details: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM  Ages: 9 – 12

Somewhere deep inside the Museum an elite group of recruits is lurking in the shadows preparing to take on top secret missions. No one really knows who they are, or for that matter, what they’re really up to. Now it’s your turn to join their ranks. Each day at Spy Camp is filled with top secret briefings and activities that will put spy skills and street smarts to the test. Aspiring KidSpy® recruits will hone their tradecraft, learn from real spies, and hit the streets of DC to run training missions. Develop a disguise for cover, make and break codes, discover escape and evasion techniques, create and use spy gadgets, and uncover the science behind spying — all of this and more awaits young recruits! 4. Camp Shakespeare

Dates: June 23 – August 16

Details: Camp Shakespeare offers two-week sessions for youth (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-18)

Shakespeare Theatre Company gives students the chance to dive into the world of one of the most celebrated playwrights in history: William Shakespeare. Returning teens can audition for a three-week Intensive. At Camp Shakespeare, campers:

Transform into Shakespeare’s characters through voice, movement, and imagination

  • Unlock Shakespeare’s language through text analysis
  • Develop acting skills for their level of experience
  • Learn the safety and storytelling of stage combat
  • Perform for friends and family

5. Air and Space S.H.E Can STEAM Camp

The National Air and Space Museum hopes to change representation in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) fields by engaging and empowering our Soaring High Explorers (S.H.E.) to seek out and succeed in STEAM fields. In summer 2025, we’ll hold our annual S.H.E. Sixty Explorers will participate in this one-of-a-kind free camp introducing them to the science of flight and exposing them to diverse careers in aviation. S.H.E. Can campers meet with aviation experts, participate in exciting hands-on design challenges and even have the opportunity to earn their wings and fly with a certified flight instructor. 6. Discover Fun Camp

Ages 3-12

At Discover Fun Camp, our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and fun-filled environment where children can explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lifelong friendships. 7. Camp Levine

Session 1: June 23 – July 11, 2025 (No camp on July 4)
Session 2: July 14 – August 1, 2025

Camp Levine is a 3-week summer day camp that provides an engaging, fun-filled artistic experience for children of all musical backgrounds and levels of ability! Grounded in the philosophy of nurturing the “total musical child,” children develop skills for creative expression through singing, dancing, playing instruments, musical theatre, creating visual art, and enjoying
a variety of games and activities. From morning sings to final performances, campers learn new skills, gain confidence, and create lasting
friendships – all while enjoying the bliss of summer. Only at Levine can children unleash their creativity through top-notch arts instruction in a safe, joy-filled, and collaborative environment.

8. Museum of Flight

Dates: June through August 

Ages: Kindergarten through 9th Grade 

All camps are (1) week-long, full-day Aerospace Camp Experience is a day camp for the budding aviator, future astronaut, or simply curious camper! ACE offers a blend of hands-on educational activities and access to the Museum’s collection with the fun of camp to stimulate a lifelong interest in science, connect with fellow learners and begin building lifelong friendships. All campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation.
