We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary. It seems unbelievable that is has been 23 years since we said “I do.” We traveled to Pennsylvania and the kid hung out with her grandparents while we had a night out. We hit the comedy club, Dave and Busters, and our favorite sandwich shop.
The comedian made several jokes about banana bread. That reminded mom that she has not yet shared her banana bread recipe with Macaroni Kid. This is the recipe that was handed down to her from her grandmother. There are many variations of the origins of the recipe. We may not know exactly where the recipe came from but we do know that it is delicious.
We were raised in different religions. Before we got married, we explored different religions and then chose one based on how we wanted to raise our future children. This week we will give you all the information that you need to attend a fun family event that will help your family learn more about Judaism on Sunday at Lincoln Park. There is ice cream for the kids and cheesecake for the grownups. It is a great chance to learn about a tradition that is over 3000 years old.
Hugs and Love,
Chris and Anita
