It seems like families are busier than ever. With so many competing priorities, feeding your family well can sometimes take a backseat to quick and easy. Chloe, the founder of La Dinette, felt the stress of trying to balance everything. She felt guilty and stressed and realized that she was not the only one. In response, she created La Dinette where the home cooked meal comes to you.
There are a few different options to choose from. You can order dinner every Tuesday, every Thursday, or both with or without dessert (but get the dessert, it is amazing). There is also an option to order just one dinner. There are typically two meal options for each day.
Our family opted for a Tuesday dinner. Mom and the kid went to sports practice and returned to an amazing dinner of arugula strawberry salad with dressing on the side, sweet and savory lentils and carrots, chicken cordon bleu, and apple crumble. We were skeptical that chicken cordon bleu could be delivered to our door and wouldn’t be dry or have too much sauce. This chicken was perfectly cooked. Even the kid noted that the chicken was tender and easy to cut. The meal feeds “4-6” people but that seems to be for hearty eaters. Our family of three had two complete meals and leftovers for lunch the third day.
This is the kind of meal that mom dreams of having on the table when they get home from work and school. However, this comes with many less dishes, no grocery shopping, and a meal plan for the night is not even necessary. Fill out the simple order form on the website and Chloe takes care of the rest.
The other great option that is offered is the new parents care package. Have you ever signed up for a meal train and then realized that you picked a time that is totally inconvenient or that you have no idea what to make and the thought of making one more baked ziti might put you over the edge? La Dinette has you covered. You can choose the day of the week you would like it delivered and for how many weeks and they will take care of the rest.
But wait! There’s more. Saturday brunch is one of their newest offerings. That will come Friday evening with a collection of sweet breads, frittata, and seasonal fruits. There are also a variety of baked goods to choose from.
