All winter we were looking forward to the day when the H Street FarmFresh Market would be back. Last weekend that day finally came. Dad and the kid had been talking about the breakfast sandwiches for months. That was the first thing on mom’s list when we went to the market. They did not disappoint.
There were so many old friends at the market. We enjoyed buying cider and veggies from some of the booths that we visited last season. There were also new friends including the cacti vendor. That was a really special treat. In addition to growing those, we purchased a lavender plant to try our hand at growing our own.
We were dad that the pickle guy was not among the vendors on opening day but we hear that he will be back soon.
We are very excited that we have also been invited back to the market this year. We are not sure of the dates yet but we will have a table during the upcoming weeks. We may do another scavenger hunt but are excited for your ideas of what we should do there too.
