One of the things that we love about living in the city is the sense of community that each neighborhood has. It is very common to see folks wearing a shirt from their favorite hardware store, watering hole, or other establishments. Right now, you can purchase a Kingman Park t-shirt. The Friends of Kingman Park (FOKP) Civic Association is hosting a year end t-shirt fundraiser, featuring a design from a local artist. The shirts are available in youth and adult sizes for $15 each. They can be ordered here until Dec. 5th, 2021 and paid for at PayPal.me/FOKP (please indicate in the note that it’s for t-shirts).
FOKP advocates for and serves the Kingman Park area of DC. The fundraiser will support those efforts, which include: neighborhood beautification projects, support for seniors and those impacted by COVID-19, our local Mutual Aid chapter, and a college scholarship program.
