Making History Fun

By Anita September 16, 2021

Mac Mom doesn’t like history. In college, she did just enough to get through History 101 so that she would never have to open a history book again. She does however, like learning about the stories of people from the past. This week we will tell you about places where you can also share in those fun stories about the past. Your kids may learn some history and it definitely won’t be boring.

Our friends at Off the Mall Tours have provided us with some great information about their upcoming tour. It is sure to not be boring. We also headed over to the National Postal Museum. A museum dedicated to the mail sounds like it could be dull. That is not the case at all. The Postal Museum is an engaging interactive experience. We planned to be there for one hour but ended up staying for three.

Finally, we will share with you a special part of Mac Mom’s own history. Before she headed off to college (which was only 45 minutes away so not far to head), her grandma wrote down some of her special recipes. Today, we will give away her chocolate chip recipe. That grandma was really special. Mac Kid was named after her. We hope that you will find the love in those cookies that mom always remembers when she pulls out this recipe.

Hugs and Love,

Chris and Anita
