Our family loves to shop. One of the things that we love to do while shopping is to walk around and notice things. There is a lot that you can buy at Union Market but there is also a ton of things to notice. It is open from 8-9 every day but the individual vendors have their own hours.
When you first walk into the market, look up. Have the kids search for a chandelier made of used water bottles. It totally cracked mom up. There is a plant shop with very cool plants, so of which don’t even need soil. Walk around and you will find a very fun photo background that says “Treat Yourself”. We just had to take a photo.
Head up to hi-lawn and take the stairs. You will find fun quotes as you walk up to the fake lawn. Once you get up there, you will find the Union Market sign that is reminiscent of the Hollywood sign. It gets really hot up there but it is also really fun and if it isn’t busy, there is a big fake lawn where kids can play.
When you head back down, go outside. On the side of the building, you will find a place just for hula hoops. There is a seating area with fun herb gardens and comfy chairs.
The more you walk around Union Market, the more you notice. This would be the perfect place to play the eye spy game. We had a great time walking around and just noticing all of the details that make it so fun.
